WaiPurple? Waipu town is going purple to show their support for difficulties experienced by those with Epilepsy in Northland and New Zealand 23-26 March with a great range of events
Friday 23 March:
Purple Meal and Movie night at the Clansman Motel
Saturday 24 March – Waipu township is purple.
Thanks to the support of local businesses, Waipu township will be purple in support of people with epilepsy the world over, but especially those in Northland. You will see Purple, smell Purple, eat and drink Purple and get the chance to do the Purple Scavenger Hunt. (will there be purple people eaters!!!)
7pm-10.30 : Purple party Scottish style at the Coronation Hall
Anne-Marie Forsythe from Auckland has arranged for our Guest Purple Band including Sharlene Penman, Lynne Scott and Mary Macdonald. Tickets at the door or from Steve Goldthorpe 09 432 0532 $10/head plus a small plate of refreshments
Prizes for the best dressed Purple People!
Sunday 25 March 12pm-3pm Purple Picnic in the Park
A family day out in Waihoihoi Park with a Purple theme. Music, fun and entertainment together with Purple stalls and Purple dress code. Anything goes as long as it is Purple and family friendly. There will be Purple competitions, activities and FUN!
Think Purple! Stalls $10 payable to Seizure Support Northland on the day.
Stall profits from the Purple Picnic in the Park can go to your cause _ unless you want to donate it to Seizure Support.
