Body Art in Waipu
Nadine Clement is the Waipu based artist that brought you the tartan sheep in the Waipu Christmas Parade.
Nadine organised a Face Painting and Body Art workshop in Waipu in May which was very high on inspiration, experimentation and creativity, so she is planning another workshop!
She is also anticipating that after the body art category at ‘Art n Tartan’, that there may be an increase in interest and in attendance to learn more about this fascinating art this time round.

Saturday 10.30AM – 4.00PM Basic face painting

This step by step, advanced class for all levels will teach you techniques and confidence to paint a body.

- Learn about shadows and highlights
- How to create 3 dimensional clothing and effects.
- Trompe l’oeil
- Photographing your work
- Clothing, Flowers, landscapes,
- Use of prosthetics
